A focus on patient safety

We’re committed to maintaining our focus on improving patient safety and want it to remain high on the agenda. We believe that it needs to remain a priority for all leaders, healthcare workers and policy leads, particularly during these cash strapped times. So what are we planning in 2012?

We want to change the way patients and clinicians interact with each other. In 2012 we’ll surface the issues, share the evidence and create debate.

Rising to the challenge of large scale change

Investing in the leadership skills of individuals is just the starting point for addressing the massive challenges of organisational and systems change.

Developing the field of improvement science

We’re working with leading thinkers to define improvement science and build its credibility, and will continue to support our improvement science fellows with their research.

Better quality care at a lower cost

We want to encourage all those working in healthcare to see improving value for money as an integral part of the wider challenge to improve the quality of care for patients.
