Dear Supporter
It was a day to remember for Future Hope, and the England cricket team
The cricketers were keeping a promise made before the T20 World Cup when their planned trip to Eden Gardens was cancelled. As armed police and soldiers stood guard the players saw the classrooms, visited the chess club and computer room.... Read more....

There has been coverage in many of the national papers. www.buzzcric.net has an excellent gallery of photos from the visit.
The ECB have made a video. Watch it here....
Another Success Story
This week one of our old boys has made us very proud. Prosenjit, after four years of devoted hard work as an apprentice, has been made a permanent employee. Read about it on the website
Thank you as ever for your continued support. Without your help, Prosenjit and all the others wouldn't have the opportunity to make a success of their lives.

A bout Future Hope Future Hope was founded in 1987 to provide a home, an education, medical aid and opportunity to some of the children of Kolkata who found themselves living on the streets.
We started with just a handful of boys but there are now 7 homes (2 girls' homes and 5 for boys) accommodating over 160 children. Our older children are now in full time employment or in further education. |
|

|
In addition is our own Future Hope School where most of our children plus around 145 day scholars (children from the local slums) enjoy the benefits of a good all round education.
|
|
Sport remains an important part of life at Future Hope, which is perhaps best known for its rugby, but also offers a range of other sports both both girls and boys.
